Smart Blur Effect *

This 'artistic' effect is recommended after you have imported an icon from a large image or photograph.

The Smart blur effect 'accurately' blurs an image. To use this tool, specify a Level, to determine how far the filter searches for unsimilar pixels to blur and a threshold, to determine how different the pixels' values should be before they are discarded.

The effect is applied to the image as you move the slider and you can see the effect in the edit area and panel of properties of the object. Press Apply button to make your changes permanent.
