Palette Toolbar

This toolbar allows you to change brush colors and transparent color. It consists or the following controls:

• the area for choosing brush colors
• the set of 16 standard system colors
• the color history bar which allows the selection of one of the last 16 colors used
• the button to select brush color A showing the current color and red, green and blue components (hex values)
• the button to select the transparent color for brush A
• the slider to set the transparency value of brush A
• the button to select brush color B showing the current color and red, green and blue components (hex values)
• the button to select the transparent color for brush B
• the slider to set the transparency value of brush B
• the button to select the transparent color showing the current color and red, green and blue components (hex values)

You can select a color from any point on the screen, including a color displayed in another program, by pressing the appropriate palette button with the mouse and while holding the mouse button down, moving over the color of interest anywhere on the screen and releasing the mouse.

The transparent color is the color of the background in the edit area.
